Brittnie Bassant

Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce

ChamberSOUTH is a local Chamber of Commerce serving the communities of South Miami, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay and Kendall. As the youngest Executive Director in the Chamber’s history, Bassant champions small businesses and community pillars alike by bringing them together through building relationships and connections that contribute to the overall economic development of the community. Prior to joining ChamberSOUTH, Bassant worked in the not-for-profit and political arenas for notable local organizations such as The Everglades Foundation, The Deering Estate Foundation and the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners.

She is a proud Knight having received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. A native of the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago, Bassant relocated to South Florida at age 14. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, participating in community events and supporting philanthropic causes.
